Power Platform: a Business Application Platform

After a year full of new features for Microsoft and our presence at the Power BI World Tour in Montreal , it seemed appropriate to introduce you to Microsoft’s business application platform: “Power Platform”.

Complementary tools for a common goal

The “Power Platform” is the combination of 3 tools which are:

• Power BI to make your data “speak” through interactive reports and indicators. Based on the SSAS engine and using Power Query, the tool transforms your raw data into relevant information, to help you in decision-making and monitoring your activity.
• Power Apps to build the apps your organization needs and give your users the experience they want. It provides the ability to quickly create simple, personalized web application solutions.
• Microsoft Flow to set up your processes and automate the integration of your internal data, your SharePoint sites, your “Common Data Service” sources, or other centralized files in One Drive and Dynamics 365. Flow will intervene within Power Platform as an interconnecting link between systems and services.
